Miley Cyrus' video for "7 Things" is refreshingly -- dare I say it? -- relatable, with Miz Miley sharing the spotlight with everyday girls.  Unlike the everyday girl, can afford to wear that Sass & Bide harlequin/argyle tunic... which costs $590!  Fortunately for the rest of us who are made to laugh and cry, we don't have to worry about which dress to buy -- here are the "27 Things" you can wear to get that argyle style... for under $30.

"Your hair, your eyes..." well, no old Levi's in this guide, but plenty of cute hair accessories!  Little Daisy Chains ($5) and Dara 43 ($7.99) had the same idea in two different formulas -- banana clips for short hair, bobbypins for long hair!

Ella Bella Bows makes cute argyle and harlequin bows in TONS of color combinations, and they are a STEAL at only $1.99 for a set of two!  Jubilee For Me's barettes ($1.99) are adorned with little crystals and cute bric-a-brac pieces... I liked these pink teddy bears.

Mixbaby headbands are big and come in lots of colors and patterns -- they remind me of the hairstyles that Leighton Meester sports in many episodes of Gossip Girl -- and this pink and brown argyle ($7.99) is a soft contrast to Miley's jewel tones.  For a Jan Brady twist (the seven things she hates about Marcia?) try Nifty Thrifty Owl's retro hairpins ($5).

"Your hand in mine, when they're intertwined" -- snuggle your hands into Nikki Lee's argyle arm-warmers ($15) on a cool fall day, or rock out with the pleather cuffs by Star & Thimble ($16).

They'll make you love them.  Who doesn't have a favorite fall sweater?  Forever 21 seems to have picked up on the phenomenon and their collection this season look comfy and chic simultaneously in shades of charcoal and fuchsia.  From top left above, $17.80 - $19.80 - $19.80 - $22.80.

From top left below, $22.80 - $19.80 - $24.80.

Too warm for a sweater where you live?  Argyle t-shirts are all the rage, inspired by the patterning on keffiyehs and kerchiefs (worn often by Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz, for example).  20twenty offers a totally hipster argyle tee silk-screened with the outline of a Polaroid camera in either gray or pink for $26.

Argyle has a reputation for being stodgy, preppy, and scholastic... but Miley disproves it in her video, and so can you with these fun shirts!  Kid Pirate's "Pandargyle" tee is pure kawaii style for $16, and Carrot Cake frosts its harlequin print with cakes, carrots, and bunnies ($18)!

The other things that can be styled in argyle -- your wrists (Freckles, Buttons, and Beads, $8); your bags (Always Amy, $5 ), your new LEIs (4-button pack by The Sweetie Pie Press, $5), everything looks right...

Let's face it, boys usually don't listen to what you say -- and what they say often isn't worth hearing (unless they're sincere... if they text it, you delete it) but make your ears a conversation starter with funky harlequin earrings!  Designs de Luna ($8) are about the size of quarters and hang to your chin; Design Studio 504 creates its own harlequin pattern with hanging charms -- clever ($10)!  I've got to say that my favorite earring set is by snowshoe, with its dangling fleur-de-lis ($3.50) -- so traditional with the harlequin pattern, but still so cool!

Earrings not your style?  The harlequin pattern gets softened in this beautiful glass pendant by BREM Designs ($18)... and the 27th thing made of argyle that looks best on you... this pick necklace by Musical Kitten that ensures you'll be a guitar hero (even if you smash the controller, like Miley!).

Now I said that there would be 27 things, and they'd all be under $30... but a lot of people think that there are actually 11 things listed in Miley's song... so I figured I could get away with sneaking in one extra!  And they may be $50, but HOW CUTE are these legwarmers by uloni?  They may be great, but compared to all the great things that would take too long to write... it's not bad a price.
