Wall-E Blu-ray

Release Date: November 18, 2008
Length: 98 minutes
T2 Rating: 3 out of 4 stars

If you're a fan of Pixar, Wall-E is going to deliver the formula you've come to love. A fun story with various layers of depth to entertain all ages and a stunning computer generated world.

The story begins with Wall-E, a trash collecting robot who's managed to survive longer than his peers. In what appears to be another ordinary day he comes face to face with a search robot named Eve and his world is literally turned upside down. No longer is Wall-E concerned with trash but rather locating Eve.

This feature film also includes two Pixar shorts. First off it's Presto, that was shown before the movie in theaters. It's show time for Presto DiGiotagione and he finds out what happens when his white rabbit is starving for a carrot. Also, included is the new short Burn-E. A look at another robot working on the Axiom. The unique thing about this new story is that it takes place during the timeline of the main feature, and if you watch closely during Wall-E you'll notice things you hadn't seen before relating to Burn-E.

For those of you with Blu-ray players you're in for a treat! The bonus disc comes back with four games that have been retooled from 80's Arcade Classics such as Asteroids, Lunar Lander and Burgertime. No longer are you stuck with a slide advance game but a full blown game in which you move in all directions in realtime. Pretty cool stuff!

As usual you also get plenty of deleted scenes and over an hour of behind the scenes footage.
