The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning is a prequel to the original movie featuring Ariel and her sisters as little girls growing up in the magical kingdom of Atlantica. The story of Ariel's mother is also revealed in this movie along with a heartfelt story line of how Ariel, Sebastian, Flounder and her sisters help restore music to the kingdom after her Father bans it.

Featuring Ariel and Sebastians's orginal voices of Jodi Benson and Samuel E. Wright as well as a wonderful new music score, this film is a delight for all ages. The special features are good too. There's deleted scenes, games and activities as well as a behind the scenes look at The Little Mermaid: Under the Sea on Broadway.
