In just a year and a half pureNRG has released their third CD just in time for the holidays - A pureNRG Christmas! This year with their second effort Here We Go Again we saw a little adjustment to their formula of fun upbeat pop focused at tweens (especially towards girls). With this new effort the trio has traded in their dance shoes for electric guitars in a release that might alienate some fans.

Unfortunately the unsophisticated rock sound ends up seeming rather vanilla and the vocals are over produced with extensive layering that reaches much farther than three vocalists could ever imagine. At times though, the group shines in tracks such as All I Want For Christmas Is You that has strong potential on Radio Disney.
