Now available for the first time on Blue-ray disc and DVD is Disney’s newest feature film Enchanted. Toted as a New Disney Classic With A Twist, Enchanted takes a whole new spin on the word fairytale.

Accompanied by an all-star cast, Academy Award® nominee Amy Adams plays lead role Giselle who starts out as an animated character in the fairytale land of Andalasia, where she meets her Prince Charming Edward, played by James Marsden. Not wanting to give her throne up to some girl, the evil step-mother Queen Narissa (Susan Sarandon) throws Giselle into a wishing well that has her end up in the middle of Times Square in the real world. Comedy ensues as Giselle tries to navigate her way through the Big Apple. Giselle is rescued from a precarious fall by Robert (Patrick Dempsey), and his daughter, who then put her up for the night in their apartment. Not to be deterred, Prince Edward follows Giselle into the real world to fight buses, bikers and even Robert for his true love. Queen Narissa’s minion fails miserably to foil the two lovers from finding each other, so she decides to take matters into her own hands and come to the real world herself to solve the problem of Giselle once and for all. Does she succeed? Will true love win in the end?

Not only is the movie a joy to watch, the extras are intriguing as well. There are deleted scenes, bloopers, and a “making of” called Fantasy Comes To Life. Discover the cinematic wizardry that went into the making of Enchanted in three behind-the-scenes featurettes: “Happy Working Song,” “That’s How You Know,” and “A Blast at the Ball.

There is also a special feature only found on the Blue-ray edition called The D-Files. Enchanted is loaded with witty hidden references to classic Disney films. The D-Files rewards players who spot them with a short featurette showing the original Disney reference. High scoring players are treated to three extra special videos: “So Close,” “Making Ever Ever After” and “True Love’s Kiss.”
