Action, suspense and a lot of emotion! Bolt featuring the voice work of Miley Cyrus and John Travolta is now available on Blu-ray and comes in a special 3 pack worth checking out.

The story features the action TV show super star Bolt, who has been led to believe he has super powers. Up to this point, everything Bolt knows has been created by Hollywood and now it's his turn to find out who he really is, who really loves him and what it's like to take chances. Ultimately Bolt finds himself on a journey alongside Mittens the cat and a hamster named Rhino that will provide all the answers.

The virtual world created for the film, has been done extremely well here. The direct digital transfer of the movie to Blu-ray creates sharp images and crisp colors that are breathtaking on the largest of High Definition screens. The work done in some of the backgrounds is simply amazing... if you by chance didn't notice them, you'll want to check out the extras to see what went into them. The blending of paint and CG creates a rich unique feel and helps establish a realism to the environments. Also, in the extras you'll find art galleries that now actually come to life with all of the details, textures and strokes.

Bolt is an above average film for the family. At times it might be a little scary for the under seven crowd, but has some great lessons of friendship.
