The Truth Squad - September 1, 2006

Here are some of the highlights from the Interview.

Tommy: Why don’t each of you tell us a little bit about what your name Truth Squad means to you?

Miki: Well Truth Squad the name we came up because we figured we were fighting dishonesty and lies and what’s really going on in the industry right now.

Jade: A lof of it, we wanted it to be positive so we thought you know truth to expose truth from the adult world.

Boo Boo: Yeah, like bullies in school who want to be all friends instead of fighting and so, pretty much the same thing Miki and Jade just said.

Taylor: Yeah, you know Truth Squad stands for truth. Ya know some artists out there and I’m not gonna mention any names lie about stuff and that is not us, you know what I’m saying. Truth Squad, tell the truth yo.

Tommy: Why don’t you give us a background on what brought the four of you together?

Jade: Well, Colleen and Ron, they have their company VCR – Vitamin C and Ron. Um, they brought us all together. We all auditioned for it and they kind chose a few people and they tried to see who matched the best and they came up with our group.

Tommy: Since a lot of your formation was with Vitamin C, what’s it like to work with a Pop Star like that?

Miki: She’s an awesome person, a very very awesome person. She hypes us up a lot and she’s really encouraging because she’s been there ya know as a singer and everything she’s really encouraging for the things we do. So, she’s a very great person.

Jade: And it’s cool cause she’s had all of the experiences before us since she was a Pop Star before us. And she knows what’s going on in the industry and she knows how to handle things.

Boo Boo: I’m glad that it’s not like someone trying to put together a group that doesn’t know what they’re doing, so… thank God it’s her.

Taylor: I say pretty much the same thing. She’s really good at the like dancing so she can help us out ya know when we’re messing up on something which is not often, but still ya know. Just to keep it tight.
