Teddy Geiger - October 20, 2006

Here are some of the highlights from the Interview.

Tommy: About a month ago you celebrated your 18th Birthday. How’d that go for ya?

Teddy Geiger: It was good. It was nice. I took a week off, went home and just kinda hung out cause it was nice.

Tommy: Did you get any good presents?

Teddy Geiger: I actually went out and got myself a bunch of studio gear which was nice, and then, so I’ve been recording and doing stuff like that.

Tommy: Okay now Halloween is just around the corner. Was that a big holiday for you growing up?

Teddy Geiger: Umm, I guess so. I’m a big fan of candy so Halloween was always nice for me.

Tommy: What were some of your favorite costumes that you had?

Teddy Geiger: My favorite costumes… oh, costumes. I don’t know. My mom usually pretty much figured out what I was going to be for Halloween. She usually made the costumes, so she had fun with that.

Tommy: This month you’re on the cover of Seventeen magazine. What’s that like seeing yourself on the newsstands?

Teddy Geiger: It’s definitely, it’s a bit weird. It’s definitely kinda, I dunno it’s just weird. It doesn’t really click with me necessarily. Like I really have to sit there and think, okay that’s me and this is me. And, it takes a lot for me to realize that that’s actually happening.

Tommy: Now you’ve got a new special edition re-release of Underage Thinking in-stores. It includes eight extra songs, including five demo tracks. Why don’t you tell us about your favorite track on there?

Teddy Geiger: I’d have to go with Amazingly Fat Cows. It’s probably one of the first things I ever recorded. I got this multi-track recorder thing and um it’s probably the first thing I recorded with that. So that was kind of exciting for me and we actually got to put it on the re-release.
