Plus One - March 2003

Here are some of the highlights from the Interview.

Tommy: Why don’t you tell us what’s new with Plus One?

Plus One: I guess like the biggest thing visually that your seeing a difference is that there is only 3 of us in the group now and it makes it look like our group is falling apart - but really we’re not, but we did lose two members. Jeremy just recently is getting married and he’s wanting to settle down and Plus One’s schedule is really starting to pick up and in some really good ways, exciting ways and the three of us are really excited and real dedicated to each other and to this band and we’ve been writing a whole lot of new music, which is turning out really kewl, we’re real excited about it.

Tommy: Right now there’s three of you - do you plan on adding anymore or are you going to keep it at that?

Plus One: Keep it three! We’ve been together, and we’re really close, why not just keep it three. Being in a band isn’t as casual as people thing - it’s a real strong commitment, it’s almost like a marriage in some ways and so you know it when you got it. Throwing someone in the mix right away didn’t feel like it would be the most healthy, stable thing for us. We know right now the connection is strong and we’re confident in that.

Tommy: Since there is a tight relationship between the three of you, are they’re any weird quirks you can tell about the band members here?

Plus One: There are definitely millions of them, but off the top of my head, Gabe just dyed his hair black. We like to mess with hair dye, except for me - mine’s natural. Boring is what we are!
