Natalie Grant - March 30, 2002

Here are some of the highlights from the Interview.

Tommy: Could you start off by telling us about your new album, Stronger?

Natalie Grant: Yeah, it’s an album called Stronger, it’s on Curb Records and um, I was very involved in the creative process which was really cool for me. I wrote or co-wrote about 70% of the record, which was new for me because I haven’t done much songwriting so, I feel much more connected to the material like it was something that was birthed out of my heart – which is important to me. And it’s really contemporary pop, it’s real fun, it’s real positive all the songs have a…. I like happy music so, I call it a happy record.

Tommy: Happy Pop!

Natalie Grant: Happy Pop! So that’s really more of the flavor and my vocals are definitely more of a big voice pop singer, more along the lines of a Celine or Whitney kind of voice but with a younger, more current track.
