Miley Cyrus - November 17, 2006
Here are some of the highlights from the Interview.
Raul: Miley, I gotta
say I just saw you in concert at Universal. You were absolutely
incredible.
Miley Cyrus: Thank you
so much!
Raul: What got me, was
amazing how the crowd never stopped screaming the whole
time.
Miley Cyrus: Right, it’s
totally crazy. After awhile you kinda forget. On my first
couple concerts the whole time it kinda threw me off.
But they you just forget about because they do a really
good job of helping you sing along.
Raul: In case you forget
the words you can look right out there.
Miley Cyrus: I know.
All I gotta do is usually they have actually some signs
that are holding up the words and those are my favorite
songs. And those are the lyrics up there and I’m
like YES. Go you!
Raul: Last time we talked,
Hannah had only been on a very short time but now here
we are almost end of the year and Hannah’s just
going crazy.
Miley Cyrus: It is. It’s
awesome!
Raul: The DVD just came
out.
Miley Cyrus: The DVD
and CD. And the CD is actually number one on iTunes right
now. So I’m so excited.
Raul: And you’re
traveling everywhere. You were just in New York.
Miley Cyrus: Yeah, I
was just in New York it’s very cold there. I didn’t
pack like a jacket and thought it would be cool. What
the heck? I came here from California and everything else
was warm except for New York. I froze; we had to buy a
jacket. I was so cold.
Raul: You did a record
signing there.
Miley Cyrus: Yes, there
was 2,000 people at the record signing and I signed every
one. Yes.
Raul: And that’s
what everyone told me who emailed me, they said Miley
stood there until she signed all of them.
Miley Cyrus: We signed
all of them and we actually did some extras. Everyone
who bought a CD got me to sign it and then some people
that didn’t even get the chance to go buy it, we
got them up top. They were more patient than anyone else
even though they weren’t in the line to get their
CD signed they stood there until I was done so we went
out and did a little bonus like 100 or 200 people.
