Mandy Moore

Here are some of the highlights from the Interview.

Tommy: You just turned 16 right? How does that feel? Does it feel different?

Mandy Moore: It's different in the sense that you usually don't talk about your age very much, and the past year i'm 15, i'm 15, i'm 15, i'm 15, and there was such an emphasize on my age that all of a sudden, I was 16 and I felt so much older. But i'm used to it now. I'm used to saying i'm 16, it's not that big of a deal anymore.

Tommy: What makes you confident and gets you through each day?

Mandy Moore: What gets me through each day? Surrounding myself with people that love me for me. You know, and don't look at me as a product or a dollar sign or something else. They look at me as Mandy, not for my career, and what im lucky enough to be able to do and that gives me confidence. The people that you surround yourself with, it's the best thing to surround yourself with people that love you for you, and aren't always throwing in their opinions about what you do. Listen to what you want to do, go with your heart.

Tommy: If someone were to come up to you and ask you for advice, what's the most important thing you would tell them, what would it be?

Mandy Moore: Self confidence and self assurance in yourself, there's always going to be people that don't believe in what you want to do as much as you do. There's always going to be those people, but you can't pass up on any good opportunity, you gotta do what you love. You gotta do what you love.
