Brie Larson - January 14, 2005

Here are some of the highlights from the Interview.

Tommy: Has your life been upside down since your new single She Said hit the airwaves?

Brie Larson: Life's been great since She Said. I think that She Said's the perfect song it's kinda been the soundtrack of this whole experience for me because obviously coming out with a CD and a single is very very nerve wracking and it's kinda like coming out and going 'Hello World this is me I'm Brie and this is my music'. It's really been one of those songs that's almost helped me in a sense that I'm learning that I could totally fall flat on my face and It's a hard decision to come out and do this but the rewards at the end are so great that it's totally worth it.

Tommy: Now speaking of which, a little over three years ago in an interview with Girls Life Magazine you said that you wanted to start your singing career, and that you'd begun singing lessons. Did you ever think that it would happen this quick?

Brie Larson: Haha, I never thought that it would happen this quick. I mean it seems like, it seems like it went by so fast. Three years is a very very long time but it seems like it's actually gone by fairly quickly. I've worked really hard and I think that I've made such and awesome product in the end. I'm really proud of how the album turned out and I'm really excited for it to come out.

Tommy: Now most teens are already familiar with your face with your roles in Right On Track and Sleepover. Were those fun movies for you?

Brie Larson: Oh yeah, they were awesome. Right On Track was such an awesome experience. That was really my first time working with one camera and kind of the experience of working on a movie set and how it feels. I learned so much from that. Sleepover was obviously was completely a different experience for me. I'd never worked with kids my own age before. So that was really cool to kind of be on the set with peers and I learned also a lot from that and I had a lot of fun.
