Stacey Farber - April 21, 2006

Here are some of the highlights from the Interview.

Raul: What’s going on with Ellie this season?

Stacey Farber: Ellie this season… ummm, this season was actually a lot of fun for me to shoot because Ellie got in touch with her romantic side. She sort of became a little more girly which was… umm, I think was a nice change. I mean some fans don’t really like it cause they like the old Ellie, but I think it just adds another layer to a great character.

Raul: There’s not doubt about that cause I do like the new Ellie no doubt about that, but the new Ellie there’s something mysterious to her with the goth girl kinda thing and everything about that, I like that anyway. But it’s the inside the heart of Ellie that I really liked so much cause Ellie’s a very caring character but she was really had her own clique.

Stacey Farber: Yeah, well that’s the whole essence of the character I think. This whole time through every season she’s wanted to be loved. She’s been looking for love and that continues this season definitely with, she wants to pursue a romantic relationship but the whole season is about who is she gonna go with.

Raul: I think the show is so popular cause somebody can relate to at least one character out of that cast, no matter who it is.

Stacey Farber: I also think that people can relate to Ellie specifically because she sort of represents the outsider or the different girl at school. I think everybody in the whole world thinks that they’re the different ones that doesn’t fit in. So, I think that people can connect with her easily.
