Jonathan Adams - October 22, 2004

Here are some of the highlights from the Interview.

Raul: Jonathan, this is now your third season on American Dreams. Is this a fun show to work on?

Jonathan Adams: Oh it’s great. I’m having such a good time. I’m just proud of this work. Just period – it’s excellent work.

Raul: And you get to wear some great costumes...

Jonathan Adams: Yeah, well ya know. You got those straight leg pants really kind of tight, not really my thing. But yeah, they’re cool.

Raul: And the Music which is such a setting for the show, were you much of a fan of the sixties music?

Jonathan Adams: Ya know I’m a fan of good music. I love some of the old Stones and I can’t get enough of Stevie Wonder – no matter when he wrote the song. Ya know, so it’s a really a lot of fun to be involved in a show where you get to see that kinda stuff and hear that kind of stuff all the time.

Raul: Now when the show started, your son had just started going to East Catholic. And there were some problems. Things have evolved obviously now.

Jonathan Adams: He’s in college this season so we’ll see what kind of problems he faces there. Ya know, trying to get into an Ivy League School and dealing with ya know, Racism in its other various guises. And there is some really neat stuff. He’s gonna get a knew girl and we’ll see how it all works out.
